SENSORY PERFORMANCE BENCHMARKING


OPPORTUNITY

Kite Hill has a successful line of European-style dairy-free almond milk yogurts.  As the surrounding plant-based dairy-free space continues to mature, with many competitors are entering the market.  In order to maintain relative product superiority, it is critical that Kite Hill continually measure and understand how their yogurt SKUs perform overall and relative to key competitors’ products.

METHODOLOGY

DMG conducted in-person central-location product clinics among n=200 target consumers, using self-administered computer-aided surveys, in order to determine sensory-based product performance of Kite Hill’s European-style dairy-free almond milk yogurts and it’s primary competitors’ products.

IMPACT

Key sensory-based product strengths and weaknesses were identified for Kite Hill’s Marketing and Product Development teams to capitalize on for growth.
